This booklet is for young people in Year 8/9. It will encourage them to start thinking about the choices they need to make when going into Year 10. The booklet gives information on the type of qualifications, learning styles and to help them to start thinking about their future.
Making Choices
This booklet is for young people who have special educational needs. It will give them information about their options when leaving Year 11 and the type of help and support they can get.
Options @ 16
This booklet will help year 11 leavers make the transition into education, employment or training, giving information on how to apply for training/courses. It also gives info on job searching, how to prepare for an interview as well as what funding is available when leaving school.
Moving On
This booklet looks at Year 11 school leavers destinations along with a comparison against previous years. Individual school destination figures can also be found in the rear of this publication.
What Next @ Year 12
This booklet is for those young people who are in Year 12. It has been produced to give young people an insight into their options when leaving Year 12/13 whether it’s further learning, taking a gap year, employment or training. The booklet will help prepare young people for the next phase in their life.
