Doncaster Prospectus
The online prospectus acts as an impartial system that promotes local opportunities in training and learning. Through the online prospectus young people will also be able to apply for education and training opportunities. This electronic application is known as the Common Application Process (CAP).
The Common Application Process is a system to make things easier for young people, they will only have to complete one application form online and this will be circulated to the training providers or learning institutions the young person is interested in. Any replies will be sent directly to back to them through the system.
The AWP and CAP can provide young people/parents and carers with:
- Access to accurate and comprehensive impartial information regarding progression routes.
- Raising aspirations.
- Directory of providers and provision in Doncaster and surrounding areas.
- Linkages to other information, advice and guidance and sources of support such as well-being.
- Opportunity for single application process.
- Access to local labour market information.
