Get a Job

You can get a job after you have a left school or finished your training.
A job can be either be full time or part time.
You can choose a work area that you enjoy.
You may have to work outside in all weathers, rain, sunshine or snow and you may have to work weekends or nights this will depend on the type of job you choose.
Some jobs you will have to wear a uniform.
You will meet lots of new people.
You will learn new skills.
You will earn some money.
You will have to go for an interview so you will need to dress smart.
You may have to do some work experience to help you get ready for work.
Sometimes voluntary work can lead to a full/part time job (see voluntary work)

Where can I find a job?

You can look in shop windows.
You can look in the local newspapers such as Doncaster FreePress, The Doncaster Star.
