‘Job Shop for Young People‘ @ Doncaster Connexions

Local and national newspapers and magazines

These are available to read in the public libraries and your local Connexions Centre. Get into the habit of reading them as soon as they come out. If you see a suitable job advert follow it up straight away.

The Internet

Make use of the internet, there are lots of jobsites available. On some websites you may have to register your details or upload a Curriculum Vitae and they will contact you when a suitable position becomes available. For job websites click on the useful links section.

Have local and national vacancies for people aged 18+.

Applying ‘on spec’

Identify potential employers by using the phone book or internet. Get the name and postal address of the Recruitment or Human Resources Manager and send your CV and covering letter to them directly.
