Covering Letter
If you are writing a letter:
- Make a rough draft first and check your spelling.
- Say which job you are applying for and where you have seen it advertised.
- Tell them why you think you are suitable for the job.
- Mention any exams you have taken or hope to take and any relevant experience, such as Saturday jobs, voluntary work or work experience.
- Try to find out information about the company via the internet
- and include it in the letter, this shows interest in the company.
- Write clearly and neatly, or use a computer.
- Make sure you include your address and telephone number including mobile.
- Print your name underneath your signature.
- Keep a copy of the letter.
